About The Event

In this class, each foot, body movement and gesture plays a unique role in achieving muscle, joint and mind stimulation and relaxation.

 

Katia has been captivated with learning, practicing and teaching this dance movement training for over 9 years. As a black belt NIA teacher, she is excited to teach and share the many fascinating elements of this class, and to help others to create and develop a body-mind connection through movement and breath. This soft introductory NIA session invites everyone, of any age or fitness level, to join in and discover an alternative approach to staying fit and connected to self. NIA training is designed to reinforce the cardio vascular system and promote joint mobility and muscle strength, while tapping into the wisdom of our bodies and the innate sensation of joy.

A mind – body 75-minute session, all fun and no pretension.
